The AVATAR Americana experience offers an engaging blend of entertainment, interaction, and flavor, providing a unique digital and physical crossover for users in Egypt. Participants can customize their own Avatar and engage in augmented reality challenges, such as dance-offs, which can be shared with friends through video. The incorporation of code-redemption for additional rewards—such as new characters, avatars, power-ups, dances, and outfits—adds an incentive for continued participation.

The collection of Avatar packs involves a physical component, requiring users to visit kiosks and deliver their packs at designated points along the street. Successful collection of the required number of packs completes the challenge and allows continued gameplay. However, players must navigate carefully to avoid street obstacles like potholes, traffic cones, passing vehicles, and tuktuks, as contact with these hazards results in losing packs and potentially ending the game.

The application’s camera function enables users to project their Avatar into real-world environments where it can perform dance routines selected or unlocked within the game. This feature encourages social sharing by allowing users to showcase their dance moves directly on social media platforms, with options to customize background music to trending tracks.
